Poland

Kenny Spence and Colin Chisholm were asked to help develop a Men in Childcare Project in Poland. In March 2005 Mirella Nawrot Manager of the Development and Training Centre “Partner” and Marianna Styczynska Lecturer in Childcare Adam Mickiewicz University visited Edinburgh to find out more about the success of the Edinburgh based project. They were so impressed that they invited Spence and Chisholm to speak at their conference in Gliwice, Poland. While there Spence and Chisholm were invited to Warsaw where they were presented with a Partnership Nursery Award. The Project in Poland which Mrs Nawrot has now established will try to replicate where possible the Edinburgh Project. It is with great pleasure that MIC announce this partnership with Poland.
